Peptides in ageing and longevity research
Peptides studied in the context of ageing, where almost all evidence is preclinical and human lifespan data does not exist.
Longevity research has a structural problem: the outcome takes a lifetime to measure. Nothing in this area has human lifespan evidence, and claims rest on surrogate markers or on animal models with much shorter lives.
That is not a reason to ignore the research. It is a reason to be precise about what it shows.
